Bingo is one of the world's most popular social games. Numbers are called one by one, you mark them on your card, and the first player to complete the winning pattern shouts Bingo! It needs no special skill, which is why families, friends and communities have enjoyed playing bingo for generations.
When you play bingo online the game does the hard work for you: numbers are called instantly, cards can be daubed automatically and wins are checked in a second. You can choose 75-ball bingo with a 5×5 card and patterns, 90-ball bingo with tickets and lines, or faster speed bingo rounds when you only have a few minutes.
This guide explains the bingo rules, how a bingo card works, the most common winning patterns, the difference between 75-ball and 90-ball games, smart tips and a glossary of bingo terms, so you can join any online bingo room with confidence.
Pick one or more bingo cards for the next game. More cards give more chances, but you have more numbers to follow.
Join a room and watch the countdown. Everyone in the room plays the same number sequence at the same time.
A random number is drawn and shown on screen. In 75-ball bingo each number also has a letter: B, I, N, G or O.
Tap the called number on your card — or switch on auto-daub and let the game mark it for you.
Fill a line, four corners, a shape or the full card, depending on the game you joined.
Press the Bingo button as soon as you complete the pattern. The game verifies your card instantly and awards the prize.

Turn it on and the game marks every called number on all your cards, so you never miss a win.
Your card is verified the moment you call Bingo, and the result is shown to the whole room.
Numbers are drawn by the server using a random number generator, so every card has an equal chance.

Set your own time limits and take breaks whenever you like.
In every bingo game the caller draws numbers at random. Players compare each number with their own cards and mark matches. The first player who completes the required pattern and calls Bingo wins that prize. If two players complete a pattern on the same call, they normally share the prize.
A 75-ball card has five columns headed B-I-N-G-O and 25 squares. The centre square is free. Each column holds numbers from its own range: B (1–15), I (16–30), N (31–45), G (46–60) and O (61–75).
A 90-ball ticket has nine columns and three rows. Each row holds five numbers and four blank spaces, so a ticket has 15 numbers in total. Column one holds 1–9, column two 10–19 and so on up to column nine with 80–90.
Different rooms use different patterns. Always check the pattern shown before the game starts.
